Endgame requires lot of patience and that is the reason why many players are not good at it. I have seen players relatively inexperienced pull off brilliant combinations in middle game. But rarely I have seen any such players, win endgames meticulously. Endgame is also something which I always feel like I can improve a lot. And the truth is that it is the same for most of the people

see training..there are a lot of studyies to play against computer. you can put a 2200+ level opponnet to make difficult opponent to study

It can happen, in some cases. But, in general, chess game do reflect the mindset of players.

Anatoly Karpov or Magnus Carlsen can play aggressive chess in some games but in most games, they play methodical and patient chess. There is a preference towards positional play.
