Can people force a lag to cause you mouse to glitch and not be able to make the right move ?

Can people force a lag to cause you mouse to glitch and not be able to make the right move ?

I am asking this question, Be cause my last game which I try to show here My mouse lag and put my rooks on the wrong squares twice in the same game and only at the right time for my opponent to get the advantage in the game. is what happen to my game a natural lag or some thing else. I have happen to me before but no more than once in a game or it would be all the time. So I would like other opinions.

Maybe but you would think it would happen all the time. but my mouse batteries are good.

I Found it . I wanted to remove the name of the person who I was playing. I am not accusing any one, lag does happen. But if you look at the game you will see two rook captures that should have happen but fall short of their mark, Do to lag allowing my opponent to win the game. They are very plain to see. If it is lag then it is lag. But the lag only happen at these two time in the game.

Ok . But it really suck that it happen like that. It is one thing to lose by making poor moves. But to lose because of lag.
