Can someone tell me why I lost this game?
None perceived on my end. I have a high speed pretty secure connection. Very annoying.
Strange. Let’s wait for a moderator.

Seems there was lag or a disconnect, hopefully it won't happen again if you need to clear your browser etc.
Thanks

Thanks - but I really don't understand how this happened:
Chess.com keeps stats on wins and losses on Resignation, Checkmate and Time and draws by Agreement, Repetition and Stalemate. This "loss" doesn't fall into any of those categories AFAICT. How/why does it get scored it a loss??? It wasn't even that much time that had passed since my move. And even if I had been locked out, shouldn't the clock run until I'm out of time?
I guess the analysis shows I lost the game because the game was abandoned.
That definitely didn't happen. So, I guess that's two things that counted against me for no reason whatsoever - I lost the points and got marked for abandoning a game that I didn't. . .
Seems like that's the wrong solution for whatever the issue was.

I had the opponent's queen, and opponent's king was wide open I had the initiative, my next move was probably a triple fork and picking up at least another piece. I'm not saying I had the game won - but the odds were decidedly in my favor. And then the game froze, I reloaded and White won. There was ample time on the clock. I was not even in check, let alone mate. I lost 12 points on a game I almost certainly would have won - that's probably a 15pt swing in the ratings - which is annoying.
WTF happened?
