There should be more moderation I agree. Too many troll posts are making it a waste of time to visit these forums also.
can we ban all anti-female topics

There should be some free speech, and people should be able to talk about that if they want to. Noone is forcing you to read those. I don't.

It's about time. It's obnoxious, immature and unnecessary.
There are actually women navigating this website and trying to enjoy it, believe it or not.
Freedom of speech? Not when it's about attacking a segment of the population ALL THE TIME. It's a form of hate speech - which is prohibited in many places and for a good reason.
We don't tolerate racist attacks (on blacks, Jews, Indians, etc.) - it amounts to the same thing.
Posts telling us that "men play chess better than women" - the ratings are there, we know it, and we also know that far fewer women play chess than men, which may or may not be the explanation. Enough said. No need for more endless discussion about this.

believe it or not many women chess player- actually Many chess players on chess.com successfully ignore the trolls topics, ranting, posturing and immaturity on the chess.com forums.
so why is it worth banning people? OTOH I'm satisfied that chess.com make a good faith effort to stop racist, and sexist remarks.

Well, usually they are not racist and overly sexist. Then I would understand. Banning people for doing a classy troll on the other hand should not be banable..

Facts aren't sexist. Women are destroying the west.
The majority of women are detrimental to our society and emotionally driven.
@OP: As you can see stupidity and sexism are not exclusive features of "third world countries" (as you call them).
Edit: If we ban the sexist comments here, me might as well ban all the nationalist/racist ones. Don't you think?

Free Speech does not mean you can make derogatory and/or demeaning statements about Women, Men, Blacks, Whites, Asians, Gays, Lesbians, Bi-Sexuals, Transgendered People, Americans, Greeks, Australians, etc.
But, since you claim we should all be able to talk about whatever we want, Norweigans that post or have posted on this thread of Chess.com are the dumbest, good-for-nothing morons on the face of the planet!

All trollers should be permanently muzzled from the Chess.com forums!

And how do you think we men score in the Verbal section of the SAT compared to women?
Don't distort facts by only half-a$$ing the statistics. The Math section is not the only section of the SAT, MORON!
Speaking as a male, men should control 2 things in life, and the rest goes to the women. Men get the steering wheel, and the remote control!

Well stated.

"Freedom of speech? Not when it's about attacking a segment of the population ALL THE TIME."
Well, that still consists of speech. Speech can express a positive or a negative view towards something. The whole point of free speech is that you liking, disliking, or feeling attacked by that speech doesn't give you control over it.

Exactly, and we are losing it in the near future in Norway as well, when things get censored out in the internet, which has never happend before in Norway. Unless it is hate related ofcourse, meaning ISIS etc I agree it should not be allowed to be spread.
Banning people for the OP's post is premature.

Sure, you can say that. It's also valid to think you're a total jerk for saying it. But it doesn't mean that I should get authority over how you express what you think.

Intolerance is already against the forum rules. See Rule 3. I agree with someone else's comment above that the forums seem to lack the presence of moderators. Every day there are threads that are not just sexist but that break about every rule set forth in the post I just linked.

Rule 3 is about pictures, just saying

It seems like sometimes people will just say whatever discrimination they feel like doing is justified. They will say you can't discriminate against someone for being black, but if it's to their favor they might discriminate against someone for having a different opinion from them for example. It's still technically discrimination.
But yeah, people are absolutely free to think anyone is an asshole for what they say. Although, obviously that person doesn't have to enjoy receiving such comments, either.
I will start of by saying I am not mister political correctness. I do however get tired of seeing anti-female and demeaning post about them mainly from third world countries. There is one on here today. These same people wounder why there are not more females playing on this site or in chess in general. As a guy it is just very embarrassing to read.
