I would agree that it is somewhat annoying but I sympathize with people possibly communicating with strangers online for the first time.

It's become a problem on the internet in general since the pandemic, everyone wants to talk and no one wants to listen, plus many new users have entered in via watching streamers where the chat is just a bunch of children screaming to be noticed and no coherent discourse so they have never even learned the etiquette of forums or the art of rational conversation

The "I am doing this for an achievement" threads and similar are inevitable
