I'm having this issue with someone in a daily game. They are clearly in a losing position. They'll make one move, and then turn on vacation pause. That causes all of their games to pause. But later, the same day, they might make a move, and then after my move they may wait a day, and then again go on vacation pause. I think there should be a restriction that after coming back from vacation pause, the pause cannot be used again for a number of days.
Can we STOP people from STALLING?

Beat to report if people are abusing this function
I never understood why this is against the rules. Yes it is annoying, but if you play an X min game, then it means you agree that you will spend your next 2X minutes on that game
Ignore the stallers.
I learned a very long time ago that the majority of people on this planet are stupid.
Correct.
Everyone is stalling in my rapid 10|0 games when they are losing!
I undoubtedly have come across many occasions where the person in your opposition gives up in rage and loss, but wants to punish their opponent just for devouring any hope of them winning. In annoyance the winning person has to wait until their opponent loses on time or they lose on game abandonment. During the stalled game, the winning person has to wait many minutes in boredom and time is lost. The people who have stalled to me occurred most when I was in lower ratings, but still bad sportsmanship still happens when someone is losing in utter anger.
I'm not blaming everyone, as most of you are nice. But I'm just asking if there is or will ever be a way to stop this insanity. The stalling people usually take 5-60 minutes. In my rapid games (for getting trophies for leagues) stallers often annoy me because this is wasting my time. The time that should be used to play chess.
Please stop.
+1 = agree
shut up bro let us be whats wrong with giving your opponent a taste of their own medicine
Where's your logic? Are you just a sore loser?

I am very tired of the stalling and Chess. com doesn't take this problem seriously, in a nutshell they don't care. If they really care the people who stall should loose a lot of point for stalling. The reason that they're stalling it's because they are obsessed with their rating.
It's so deceiving for the honest player, some people will say just wait, no we shouldn't have to wait. When you have to wait aprox 10 time per day it get frustrating.
Chess. com, is very good and very fast at censuring people. I am talking about the people who will tell the cheater that he is a........... Chess.com should understand that at point one might loose patient.
Also the harassment of the simpleton who ask you 10 time in a game to draw. I am talking about the Bozo who loose their Queen in the beginning of the game, just don't like their development, or the person who has attack you constantly and the suddenly the person is loosing.
I known there is a feature, where you click don't show draw anymore, where you don't have to decline anymore, but in the chat you still see the simpleton who is going to ask 10 times in 2 minutes.
This app is awesome beside those problems. To the simpleton who cheat, stall, you will never learn to play well.

I forgot to ad don't let any staller get away if you can. Some people have rating above 400 and more, you see their rating and you say to yourself, i am gonna have to work hard on this one.
No. First move a pawn, second move the Queen and third the bishop. After a couple of move, mister or miss Simpleton who has been playing the same thing, over and over, realize that know he or she is going to have to play a different way. Oh what can i do now, oh i will stall.
Queen and bishop i could take anybody, i am Bobby Staller.
I always play 10/10 tournament, but this stalling is so annoying..think about that u only have i step to do checkmate on opponent but the opponent is clever because tournament time almost finish but the opponent have 4 to 5min time and they wait until tournament time finish..so annoying..
That’s a quirk of how chessdotcom handles the end of Arena. On Lichess, the games finish, but no longer count towards the Arena score. There are merits to both systems.
