Can you beat a bot by timeout? (rated 1300 and up)

Hi! Has anyone been able to beat the bot by timeout?

I’m quite the beginner when it come to chess so once I started playing with bots 1300 and up I’m finding it very difficult to advance.

I was trying to play bullet 1 min vs a bot 1300. But I noticed that either I run out of time or I get mated. Even if I’m trying to play random moves to be as fast as possible. So I’m wondering if the bot is programmed to take less time to make a move against the fastest a user can be at making a move. Is chess.com trying to precisely prevent this type of behavior?

Whenever I don’t have internet connection I like to play against bots, but I think I reached my level and while I’m still learning chess, it just frustrates me that I can’t advance. Lol
Thanks

****Before anyone make a moral argument about whether or not trying to win by time is not a great way to learn for a beginner. Let me stop you. I don’t care. I’m just interested in finding out whether or not bots are just faster than users.

I never actually tried that… but it is probably possible with a 250 bot.

i beat a 3200 rated bot in bullet by time out.. of course he was in winning positions.. if its not for timeouts, i would have been the one who lost

i beat a 3200 rated bot in bullet by checkmate. no cheat. he played terribly. he made several random mistakes that made him look like a novice

i managed to draw against a 3200 rated bot in bullet by repetition. but its still in opening..

many amateurs have memorized some openings along with their ideal lines.. thats how they are able to play some strong moves from the beginning to early midgame. and my opponent just happened to think its the best to repeat the same move, and i did too, hence its a draw by repetition

yes... its not easy to win on time in bullet even against intermediate or advanced bots..i have lost to a 1300 once.

PS : chess.com changed the setting...right now its too late if you want to flag strong bots in bullet because they now play super fast in bullet, starts from 20th move, they take around 0.5-6 sec to move.
