Can you defend this position as white?
Depends who's playing for black, depends how much time black has and white has, depends who's move is it.
But generally speaking answer is no.
If the black kingside pressure was not even present in the position, black would still be close to winning. White can't untangle the queenside pieces and the white's light squared bishop looks useless.
Dropping a piece for nothing after 1.Rc1 Rxc1 2.Qxc1 Bxb3 seems like the only way to avoid mate, but the trouble is that Black may not even accept the free piece and play something like 1...Rf8.
LM_player ...Bf2 is not threatening to take the rook, but rather mate after ...Qxh2+ and ...Rh6.
