Can you get US Chess National Master Title With Online Rating?

 I was just wondering if you can get national master in uschess as well as the title by reaching a Uschess online rating of 2200 or is it just OTB rating of 2200?

Acturally, hate to dispute you on this Dhruv, but the correct is NO, you cannot. While FIDE

online master titles going up to GM are possible, US chess does not offer any master titles

for online play. Nor are any planned.

How about these official slow chess tournaments where you have to install zoom and can just have 1 bathroom break per game? Does this impact your OTB rating?

no, it only impacts online rating.

Online ratings are not associated with fide and fide rating never matter.

To become NM you should have a USCF rating criteria.

Therefore you cannot become NM by online ratings.
