1825?
Can you guess the rating?
Okay Tony that is cheating...You aren't supposed to look up the game! :)
Seriously though his rating seems highly deflated!
I am not good at this but it is an interesting post. I see strong rated players doing this all the time. ... 'you are playing like an x rated player'
I also here a lot of high rated players know how to defeat players with certain rated players by what they see and what they don't. This sounds like something I would like to be able to do my self! Very interesting idea for a post.
If I had to guess I would say 1400-1500 ... but I really have no clue, heh.
So as to not look your opponet up--would you be so kind as to indicate how many games he has played? For instance if he only has 5 games then the rating has not settled yet.

Hundreds of games.
I would place a guess at about 1750 or so. Very fluid play between his pieces.
Now I'll cheat and see....
Okay. When the game was played he was a bit under 1400.
What is the point?
Other than the blunder, which just made no sense, his play seems on the level of the higher rated players on the site...which begs the question. Are ratings really a good indicator of playing ability?
I'd say 1450, but I see no one won.
White won, that's what 1-0 means. Black resigned in a totally lost position against a higher rated opponent. That is, and always has been, proper etiquette.
yeah he resigned at the final position which I thought was also strange as with correct play might gain a draw??
I think the rating is pretty high. He played the Sicilian and played it pretty ok. That at least shows something.
1-0 means white won. First number is for white. Plus, white has 1 more piece so that's why the black resigned.
Can anyone guess the rating of my opponent just by looking at the game?
The only hint I will give is that I won the game...So you know which side is which.
