Can you use Chess.com game review for over the board games?

Tried searching and was unable to find this topic.

I recently purchased a DGT bluetooth e-board.

My 3 oldest kids like to play quick games back to back against me, and they want to improve. I thought it might be fun to record these games/moves somehow and then use the chess.com review that I typically do after my online matches to review our over-the-board games.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Thank you

Yes. Use an Analysis board to enter the game and then you can run a review.

Just a tip, see if your board can connect directly to chess.com (some can) and if not try to copy paste the pgn into analysis, it’ll be much quicker than plugging in all the moves manually.

Yes this is what I am trying to figure out. Haven't been able to find where that would even be on chess.com. This is one of the wooden e-boards that is bluetooth. It appears I can use the DGT Live Chess to save a PGN file of our games and copy/paste that in. I have been able to successfully connect it to my macbook via bluetooth and DGT Live Chess registers the pieces. My goal was to somehow set up an over-the-board offline match on chess.com, but I am not having luck figuring that one out either through trial and error or searching.

I saw another thread about a chrome extension I am going to look into that bypasses the DGT Live. But still not sure where I would set up our game on chess.com to play as if offline.

I think I remember seeing a setting in chess.com about connecting dgt boards, but I’m not sure if that would be the right thing. I also have heard about a chrome extension that might make it work, but I think it’s a little bit spotty on reliability and stuff as it’s made by a third party iirc. I might be completely wrong though, not sure.

You can't play offline games like that. You might be able to get the board to sync on the Analysis board, while online, and play out a game on the board that way.

Otherwise you would export games from your board software and import them into an Analysis board.
