Cancelling Games?

Within the first 3 moves of the game, one of the players can decide to abort the game if they wish. It doesn't affect the players' ratings.

Thanks for that info... I thought it was only allowed after one move! See? Never too old to learn..

Actually you can only "abort" the game on the very first move. Once both players have made their first move it is no longer possible to abort the game.
I created 2 "seeks" in the Turn-based game section, and but of these games somehow got cancelled. I have an alert on my page for one of these games, but clicking on it says that the game was aborted by one of the players. I wasn't aware you could abort a game once it has already started.
Is this some weird bug? Does anyone else have this problem? I imagine since the game was "cancelled" then I won't have any "timeouts" accrued?
