cant see the pieces

i can see an empty board but nopieces -does anybody know why?

thanks but its not that - i did something with java and now i can see thepieces when iplaylivechess butnotonline chess!

i mean really SEE the pieces. sometimes when the pieces are there, I cannot see them; their true actuality/potentiality.
