Can't start unrated game?

I don't know if it's just me or something in the system, but I can no longer see the option to select Rated vs Unrated games. Now I only see a time selector, and anything I post will be Rated. Does it happen to anyone else?

In live you should be able to change the drop-down. In Online/Correspondence you have to use the Start New Game link on the right-side of the online page.

That's what I see in Live. There used to be dropdown below the time control to select Rated vs. Unrated, but now it's gone, and I've searched high and low but can't find it. Now if I select "Start Game", it'll always post the challenge as Rated.

Same thing for me.

The option is back now. Probably just a glitch.

Maybe a little more info would help.  Browser or mobile?  Correspondence or live?  I'll go with how you do it for the browser in live since I know how and hope that's what you want.  Roll your cursor up to Home, click on Live Chess, Play now (not the big orange Play button, but from the list on the right), and then choose Custom from the drop down time menu.  A Rating Options button pops up.  Hope that helps...

Glad to help.  I've probably written some variation of that a few dozen times. Laughing Not the easiest site to navigate...
