can't win

i played about 100+ and did not win one time. I would had thought i would get better by now but im not. I read books study the rule and play on my own everyday. im about to give up on this game but befor i do any advice on how to win a game.

What time control?

If you played in time controls  5|0 or below, skill doesn't contribute as much, and blunders are easier to make. On the other hand, 30|0 games and above give adequate time to think your moves through.

Long story short: Longer time controls make you think more.   ;)

so i should take more time to think my move. ok anything else.

Try playing some rated games. Once you establish your rating you can match up against people around your skill level.
