You have to make a prediction for 2 games in advance, so post for G2, too, where Carlsen plays white, otherwise only G1 will be counted.

Pulpofeira, I changed my predictions now when it's clear who's playing white first. Would you like to change your predictions, too, or do you stay with 1.c4 for Anand and 1.Nf3 for Carlsen?

Carlsen as white: 1.d4

Vishy as white: 1.e4 or 1.d4

G1: Draw. 41-60. e4.

G2: Draw. 41-60. e4.

Anand plays 1.d4 and draws 41-60 moves.

Carlsen plays 1.e4 and wins in 61-80 moves.

G1:Draw. 21-40. e4.

G2:Draw. 21-40. Nf3. 

Well, let's see 1. e4 for Anand and 1. Nf3 for Carlsen.

I dont think Vishy is going to go for quick draws this time ie. 20-40 moves .

This time he's going to take his chances and drag the game.Until he can do that there's just no threat to Magnus from Vishy.Impeccable technique and absolute accuracy required from Vishy along with his natural attacking syle.Passive play is forbidden and high levels of concentration even after five-six hours are important.

Beating Magnus is not easy , Vishy has to do away with the draws and try going for the win.

Then again he's played 6 world championship matches in the past 7 years and knows best how to prepare for them .If he can just calm his nerves and let the pressure get to Magnus, we might see the old tiger back as the king.

He has nothing to put on the line here, this must be a very interesting match to watch. 

Game 1: Draw, 40-60, 1.e5

Game 2: Draw, 60+, 1.c4

Game 1: Draw, 10-30, 1.d4

Game 2: Draw, 20-40, 1.c4

It'll probably start boring.

30-50 G-1 G-2,40-60 both draw or Magnus might win the second game

Game 1 starts in 2 hours, at 15:00 13:00 CET. Predictions time will be closed in 1 hour, so at 14:00 12:00 CET, 1 hour before the start of the world championship match.

Just a reminder for all players (esp. Tristan, Utkarsh), if you say 10-30 or 30-50, I will take the first number you said, therefore -20 & 21-40. Also for other choices.

I'm very glad that my first move prediction was wrong! So happy to see Vishy play 1.d4 and avoid the Berlin junk
