Vu le nombre de super-joueurs que le système russe a produit, leurs méthodes ne doivent pas être trop mauvaises...
Google Translate: Given the number of super-players that the Russian system has produced, their methods should not be too bad ...
(Also good is Artur Yusopov's Books)
What do you think of these books (and soviet schools books) ?
There's alot of good books they put out Averbakhs Comprehensive 5 volume endgame series, Kotov's books are all instructional, Suetins Books on Chess Strategy, Romanovsky's Mioddle Game Books, Kasparyn's Endgame Studies.
My favourite book growing up was 100 Soviet Chess Miniatures by P.H. Clarke the games came from Shakhmatny Bulletin I lost my old copy many years later I found it again on sale and got it for seven dollars. Some guy yelled in an online review FRITZ SAYS THE GAMES HAVE MISTAKES I don't care I still like playing over them their quite beautiful.
In a recent interview ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBnSU-LX1ss ) Carlsen speaks about the soviet schools : "I definitely learned a lot from the soviet schools in the books I red about it, Dvoretsky's books for instance on endgame play, positional play, tactical play".
