Why not just have Holy Chess? This would offer an opportunity for more players.

I was raised a Catholic, but in time and with maturity I found that other religions are as equally qualified to reach out to the supreme being. No religion is better and monopolize all avenues to reaching out to God. Your comment " you can't be holy is=if you're not a Catholic. That is really small or immature thinking if feel. This is why there has been so many religious wars in the past. One group thinks it is better than any other, that does not sound very holy to me 
Hope those bishops do nothing bad to those poor pawns.
