We are delighted to announce a new chapter in our journey: the official collaboration between Gukesh Fanbase and The Codex, under the framework of Operation Grand Alliance (OGA). This partnership embodies our shared vision of unity, growth, and the joy of chess.

Although OGA traditionally requires clubs to have at least 100 members, The Codex currently stands at 74 due to an administrative removal incident. Recognizing the extraordinary circumstances and the spirit of inclusivity, Gukesh Fanbase has extended its hand in collaboration, proving that community strength lies not only in numbers but in passion and commitment.

The timing of this announcement is deeply meaningful. On May 29, 2025, details of our first major joint event will be revealed, a date chosen to honor the birthday of Dommaraju Gukesh, the youngest-ever World Chess Champion. This symbolic day reflects the heart of our fanbase and the inspiration behind our alliance.

The upcoming June event will mark the beginning of shared tournaments, puzzles, and learning opportunities that will unite members of both clubs. Together, we aim to create a vibrant environment where players can challenge themselves, celebrate achievements, and strengthen the bonds of our global chess community.
