Charlie Hunnam and James Corden talk chess

Ouch this was hard to watch... Din't like the connection to anti socialism stating those who play online have no friends and that chess is not for "cool" people. But the most cringeworthy moment is when he dosen't correct the host after he address him as a online chess champion. Hilarious.

Q: You played online chess?  Ha ha...

A: I didn't have a lot of friends. Ha ha...

Maybe chess.com should hire him for a PR position.

I don't think he mentioned a common personality trait of chess players: overly sensitive.

wow, people are so funny about self effacing, it's great to come from a country that doesn't have to be so pretentious all the time!

it's not totally real, it's just an affect... how people underplay things

hard watch???

amazing, i think it keeps the british humble .... and some associated countries.

you guys should really get your head around it, it's just a personality type happy.png

Also if heaps of young people are looking up to him, good that he is encouraging them to go outside and have real friends. We can be sad old **** at any time, no need to advertise this as being cool happy.png

I wonder what site he played on.

a comment from youtube on this clip: "Gorgeous people tend to be loners bc people always judge them being arrogant, it’s hard to make friends like that."

okay then.
