Chat woppers

Iam quite new to chess so id be the first to admit i have good days and bad days and am at best an average player. I enjoy the game and its nice when people complement each other on a good move or a good game etc etc. However, every now and again you play a person who feels the need to be petty and name call or just generally act like a complete wopper over chat. Now, the option to disable chat is there and I could disable it and often do but its the fact that these complete helmets are out there in the first place that grinds my gears. You cant even have a game of chess without some complete prize winning cod poking fun. It shouldnt wind me up but it does as im sure it does others as well, so my final word to all chess trolls who put a downer on everyone elses game of chess is as follows: You and others like you are tools, your parents are probably tools and your friends are probably tools as well, having said that you probably dont have friends because you are, as previously stated, tools. So stop sitting in your dark windowless room giving people shit while playing chess, its just a very sad thing to do.

Firstly you can block them. They make up just a minority but are annoying. I disable chat on blitz games. So a few do spoil it for the rest, but I haven't the patience to deal with cowardly spotty faced teenagers and mental patients.

We cannot routinely disable chat. Sometimes nice people also chat!

I simply ignore them, and at the end of the game I block them. For the most stupid ones I also write a comment before blocking them so that other people know. By the way I think they quickly become lonely people even on this website.
