chats during games

I've set my games to never allow chats and yet I still get chats from others (usually nasty especially from Americans). Is this common? How can I change my settings to NEVER chat?

Lol.. Are taught you could only change that once... I guess you're stuck with American flag.

I turned off chat almost as soon as I signed up. People would be losing and talk trash repeatedly during the game.

Chess without chat would be pretty boring to me... It's like going in to a battle without shouting... or have anyone ever seen a silent battle.... How does that even work....
