CHEATED ONCE AGAIN BY CHESS.COM

This time I 've had it. Being cheated out of a move cost me the game. I started to move my piece and then returned it to the original spot. Whereupon, this Mickey Mouse program counted it as a move, even though I never left the original spot. My opponent immediately took my last moving piece and I lost the game. We were in a death struggled and then to be cheated out of a win is beyond reason and draws intense ire. I could put a fork in their eyes I am so angry.   DON'T YOU EVER DO THIS AGAIN!!!!!!! I WANT THAT LOSS CANCELLED IMMEDIATELY.

Is that it? b5 was not the original spot. Your queen was on e2.  You dropped your queen.

Never submit!

It is set to to touch. But it still should work correctly, especially where the piece never left its original spot.

I've had that happen to me when dragging the pieces.  Now I click on the piece and then click on the square I want it to goto.  If I click on the piece and hold and drag the piece to the square I want it on sometimes it drops on the wrong square.

Ok... a few things:

1.  You were not in a "death struggle"  You were playing a game of online chess.

2.  Mouse slips do not cause anger, or ire, you messed up, so fess up.

3.  If a game of online chess causes you that much anger i would suggest therepy, or youre just immature.

4.  Typing in all CAPS doesnt emphasize your point any.

5.  Multiple exclamation marks dont either.

I think what happened is that it was his opponents turn but he thought it was his turn

Yep...probably moving to fast (Surpise) and made a premove.

i was playing an otb club game tonight , winning team win league (final game between top 2)

my opponent consistently did not record moves , he is supposed to , rules , long story short , i was recording his scoresheet for him , didnt focus on game , lost , been feeling like headbutting walls since but have just about calmed down , was i cheated , it would be so easy to say i lost because he wasnt playing by the rules , but you know what it is just a game no matter how important (league title) it seems at the time ,

am i still angry ? less so now , happy ive calmed down , a bad game by me and poor sportsmanship by my opponent but good chess and fair chess still exist , so i await next season and start again

Pretty intense! Yatzi! I'm not experienced enough to be very either good or markedly grieved over the game. "If I've learnt from losing, it really wasn't a loss." ~Robert Fischer
