I've played chess games for hours but still can't get a brilliant move. It feels impossible.

Brilliant move is when you make a really good sacrifice. Also don't play too much or you'll just make yourself tired mentally. Btw if you see someone plays this opening as black, do this

The knight sacrifice is a brilliant move

Or at least it is in the last time I game reviewed a game like that

Thanks but I can't find anyone that plays f6 on the second move

Wouldn't stress about trying to find a brilliant move. Keep practicing and playing eventually the opportunity will arise. The engine deems a move to be brilliant when you play the best move and it is particularly difficult to find. It generally involves sacrificing a piece but not always. The "smothered mate" is one that set play attack that will generally be considered brilliant if you sacrifice your queen in the build up.

Any good sacrifice will do.

Most low rated players get one by accident: they blunder a piece, and it turns out to be not a blunder for reasons that they have no idea about.

This shows that yes, playing a "brilliant move" has no value.
