man this is ridiculous I was winning and my opponent didn't move for over 5 min and I was disconnected and couldn't log back in no matter what I tried

It just sounds like a regular connection issue. Your opponent can't impact your connection. The clients don't communicate directly with each other so only the site has your IP.

If you are going to try to say he cheated and that is why you got disconnected...I'm just going to shake my head and walk away.
