Ok, so ive encountered a few games where when im winning suddenly both timers are frozen, it doesnt say the other player disconnected, it doesnt say i disconected, no draw, no nothing. Just now i took a players queen and suddenly, frozen game. But what most caughr my eye was yesterday, where my phone said "software caused disconnection" and i was kicked from the match 2 seconds after making a chame changing move. The match doesnt appear in my history, theres no result like winners or losere, i simply wasted my time playing someone who presses a button and errases the match..
So, what i wanna know, how are they doing this? Is it am option that comes with the membership? So your kd doesnt drop?
Your opponents can't impact your connection.
Some possibilities:
- There was a normal disconnect and it's just taking a little time to be written to the archive. Game writes to the archive may have delays. For the disconnect: https://support.chess.com/article/213-how-do-i-fix-my-disconnect-lag-issues
- The live server had an issue and either crashed or was restarted. In that case, all ongoing games are aborted and do not get written to the archive.
