There is a thread on this 3 or 4 times a week. Because this is a browser based application any computer "lag" just kills the game. Must be very frustrating but the chance of your opponent being smart enough to come up with a "time manipulator" is so miniscule as to not be worth considering.
cheating
my opponent rated in the 1250,s had 22 seconds left and i had 2 minutes i moved instantaneously but his time was slowly moving off 22 i was watching it and he had a huge lag before his clock would kick in sometimes between moves he would stay at the same number over and over although he was moving slower than i was finally i was down to 3 sec and he was still at 15
I have been losing games to what seriously appears to be cheating but Chess.com Admin says is a "technical issue".
Can't be because it's ALWAYS when I'm winning : my opponent just stops moving and lets the clock run down
(5.5 min w/2 sec added) then all of a sudden the board flips over and I have 5 seconds left. I lose due to my "abandoning the game'. Has anybody else experienced this?
