need help stale mating when opponent has rook and king and I have only a king

After all 4 knights are out, you can play Bb5 as white. If you are black, it depends on what they play. If Bb5, play Bc5. If Bc4, Nxe4 sacrificing the knight after they capture back fork their bishop and knight with d5. If something else, try to develop more pieces and play safely. You can try this on the analysis board

If your opponent plays the best they can you probably can’t stalemate just try to keep your king as close to the center as possible to prolong checkmate.

It seems somewhat unlikely that a 100-rated player beats a grandmaster. With or without the help of that particular book.
