Re: Has anyone felt nervous about initiating a game for the fear of blundering hard?

This is due to adrenaline in your bloodstream (fight or flight response). Just remember that there is nothing to fear but fear itself.

I am somehow not able to download a game. Instead of a game I only have a single position, not a game. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

I mean when I play on the board I personally feel terrified until we get past the first few moves and I can get into the swing of things.

I found out how to post a game:

1. Go to your game and click the download symbol (the second one from these symbols above your nickname).

2. Copy the PGN. This is all the stuff that you have under the title "PGN".

3. Now you have almost: you go to the forum, click the diagram "insert chess game or diagram" (it is a little chess board).

4. Click "load PGN" and paste your PGN. Finish. Now click insert and you have it.

This is one of my daily games. I had a lot of material but with the queen on the board I had to stay careful until the end.

It seems that  you can add comments before inserting the diagram/game by right clicking in any move on the PGN. A menu appear, you write your comment, move again, add another comment and so on.  I did not try it yet.  Let's see if it works:

I have an idea. What about to start an interesting project here with "free, mutual coaching"? The idea is that I will "coach" somebody who is perhaps 100 or 200 points below me, and this guy will himself "coach" another guy who is weaker them him. With "coach" I mean to go through one or two games, analysing them together, giving insights on the game or opening. Or is something similar going on already in chess.com?

There is a standard line that coaches of the art of public speaking tell their nervous students.  "Imagine that your audience is naked."

I can help with that.

I can post a game, we go through together, and afterwards I can do the same with a weaker player.
