@all who are interested:

I was just wondering about the ratio of people who play left-handed and right-handed otb chess. Does, it makes any difference considering our brain is divided into two halves: left and right.

Who divided your brain into two halves, manavendra? I hope you can you put it back together again.

I am afraid that would be difficult, the Aliens took away my other half. After several rounds of tough negotiations with them, they agreed to return it back on the sole condition that I quit Chess, which I declined.

One half is more than adequate for playing Chess

Good for us 'cause if you had the other half your score would be >3000

Might be trash talk to some, however I strongly believe in the existence of extraterrestrial intelligence.

It looks like something is visiting. Or hanging out. I saw something in the sky once, it looked like a star, but only about a few hundred yards away, and the dogs were barking at it. Not much to go on, personally. Tens of thousands of "eye-witness" reports, thousands of films, and videos, plus tons of photographs and government documents all over the world is convincing. It's just that I REALLY have to experience it myself for any REAL impact...It's a no half-brainer to think extraterrestrial beings are out in the universe somewhere. The real story is are they seriously here, or do we not understand, or not know about some things that have always been here? A bunch of questions worth continuous investigation, not "dogmatic slumber".Smile

Conquistador

Conquistador

All I had to say was that I met the pumpkin people.

I don't understand, Conquistador???? Are the pumpkin people a part of "Homeland Security"!Laughing

Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) is the collective name for a number of activities people undertake to search for extraterrestrial life. The size and age of the universe incline us to believe that many technologically advanced civilizations must exist. However, this belief seems logically inconsistent with our lack of observational evidence to support it. Either (1) the initial assumption is incorrect and technologically advanced intelligent life is much rarer than we believe, or (2) our current observations are incomplete and we simply have not detected them yet, or (3) our search methodologies are flawed and we are not searching for the correct indicators.

REAL experience while encountering Aliens can vastly vary depending on the nature of contact. It can be categorized as 1st order encounter, 2nd order, and so on. The 6th-order encounter is for Alien Abduction. What I find interesting is that in all these level of encounters, the persons usually hear a continuous high frequent beep sound, something like coming from inside the head before the contact.

"6th order"? I thought the "fourth kind" was alien abduction?

To keep the mystery alive for future readers, so that they are not lost in bits and bytes.

manavendra, if I'm lost reading you, I don't see why others shouldn't go through the same experience!Laughing

"fourth kind" is a movie, good one. "6th order" is used to describe cases where the person is impregnated with alien life force to procreate another life.

trysts

So the "fourth kind" is abduction. But the "6th order" is abduction with the purpose of impregnation. Because men claim to be abducted as well.

Laughing You don't have to worry about the 6th order, orangehonda, no womb. But if you get abducted by aliens, it sounds like the same thing that happens when guys get arrested and go to prisonEmbarassed

You know what, manavendra, ever since Jodie Foster came up with the idea of SETI, I've had my doubts. I mean why would aliens want to communicate through radio waves? In fact, if they're close enough to receive them, why wouldn't they just pop in and out as they please, do whatever they want, observe all they need to, without ever having to communicate with beings that make other beings extinct, without a thought about it? Seems implausible.Smile
