What is the relationship between chess mastery and virtue, if any?

I think you're thinking of the Virtual Tour of Wales, which, although very interesting and worthy of its own thread, I'm sure, is not what this thread is referring to.  Have you not something more relevant to add?  Do you think there is no connection at all between virtue and chess virtuosity?  I think there definitely is.  Semantically, by definition.

The same as the relationship between rugby mastery and virtue -- none whatsoever.

No no no.  No.  God.  Please, people.  Try to understand how much you don't know. You can't say that authoritatively or conclusively. You need to understand the difference between opinionatedness and fact.  You have an opinion; you do not state the facts.  It is absolutely debatable, and depends on clear definition terms before you even begin to get into absolutes.

You are a strange person (my opinion, not an absolute fact -- although the preponderance of evidence...)
