The only plus for chessbase are the media produced for it. So it depends on you. When I work with books and do calculation training, in those two cases I only work with SCID. But it's a matter of taste.

SCID vs PC should fix it's bugs.It's always very laggy in FICS comparing to Babaschess or other stuffs.Interface is also very ancient and not attractive.

I have SCID vs PC and find it to be a very useful program. But I was wondering if ChessBase is an even better program.Would I be better off spending money for Chess Base or should I continue to use SCID vs PC? Money is not a problem here.
