Chess Book!!!

"... Jeremy Silman's How to Reassess Your Chess is an example of a good book which explains many important ideas in clear terms. ..." - GM John Nunn (2006)
However, not everyone finds it helpful. I suggest trying to see if you can view a sample at the Siles Press site.

Actually, Seirawan's Winning Strategy was my first chess book and I learnt a lot from it. Ideas are crystal clear, games well chosen and there is also a short part on great positional players from the past which is entertaining when ones is fed up with chess exercices. It's a good book for beginner/intermediate players.
Why so grumpy, did you eat thistles this morning?

A list of instructive chess books suitable for those who have yet to add "Master" to their chess title....
