Chess burnout

Doesn't matter, Blitz isn't really chess.
It has a superficial resemblance but other than the rules and the look of the pieces the similarity stops.
Take a break by playing chess960, the purest form of the game.

Throw yourself off a bloody bridge man.. A hundred points!!! Obviously you're not worth anything now... Seriously.. don't know why I'm even bothering to help you since your so worthless and all.

Toss pot....and where do I find a bloody bridgeman to throw myself off of and how would I get on top of him and then after , what do I do .? .... .

ok, FantasticFox gets a perfect 10 for the most useless, most trollish bit of advice found on a forum full of trossish, useless advice.
@OP. hopefully the 4 months have helped- irregardless- the key to this journey is enjoying the game and not getting TOO caught up in the silly number (rating).
to lose 100 points in no big, and not at all unusual.

I am playing terrible chess ...lost about 100 points in no time at all...just stupid mistakes ...should I continue playing or take a break....

There is no one here worse than me at Chess.
I'm playing for the fun of using my beer soaked brain to think.
Remember Shadowcat53, you don't need a break from Chess.
Chess is a break from the world!

I just checked your Tactics score. Stop being so 50-50 about your chess and be more committed-one way or the other..!?

small pet peeve of mine. I hate when people make assumptions based on a person's tactics score. you tactics score can only indicate if you solve tactic puzzles using chess.com- it can't say that you don't study tactics.
there are ALOT Of other places and ways to solve tactics. myself I prefer books- there aren't timed and you don't get "partial credit" for knowing the first move; I write down the combination as I see it- and I either got it or I didn't.
If I can't figure it out, I carefully record my observations of the position- and those problems, though I didn't solve it are Probably the most instructive of all.

I know American's struggle with something called sarcasm... but jeez. Don't you (thegreat patzer) realise that you just reiterated my point, only less eloquantly and without any humour! Also, bridge and man are two seperate words in my post. We use the term man to refer to another person, be they male or female. Sexist I know, but thats the way it is. A colloquialism. Something you would have thought Americans would understand given the fact that they have turned the proper English language in to a giant collection of misspelled colloqialisms.
