A slightly used clock works just as well, keep your options open. If you trust your hands, you can replace ribbons and fix glitches.

This is what I have (below). I find it highly useful, with many different settings:
It's first on the Internet when you look up "chess clocks", but it is indeed what I have. Like I have said, I like it a lot, and the reviews are 4.5 stars with 480 reviews.
