Chess club etiquette
Walk in with a chess bag in hand and approach the players. When you get within 8 feet or so stop in place and freeze. When a few people look up from their games, get a screwed up look on your face and shout "I SMELL FIIIIISH!!"
If you do it right, you should look something like this:

Then take a seat. Explaining that you have more important things do to later that evening, demand the best player face you immediately.
Around this time you'll notice a gentleman in the corner, who reminds you of a James Bond villain, will offer you a game.

If you win, then you're part of the club. If you lose... well, they're pretty much going to break all your fingers or something.
Good luck.
I am thinking of joining a chess club but idk exactly how it works do i need to bring my own set and clock or do i just show up what to where? do i just challenge anyone to play or is there structure?
