chess clubs

This has probably been asked before but how many of you chess.com members play for actual chess clubs? Has your club got thriving or dwindling numbers? Where does your club play. I'm in the UK and we're always in the bk end of a pub. Which usually means some members getting drunk. Do you find it more difficult OTB than on the Internet? What's your top players grade? Got any OTB funny/strange stories? That's all. You don't have to answer them all. I just thought it would be interesting to hear from some of you. Thanks.

Nice, I don't suppose by any chance you're based in Staffordshire. If you are I might drop by some time.
To answer your question(s), I don't play OTB. Never have.
