Time control will be determined based on participation, it will be rapid though. Most likely 20|15. Qualifiers will be one game of 10|5, championship games 20|15, and will be 3-7 games. Top placers after the week is over will face each other in bracket style, and the winner will be decided. For the brackets it will consist, of a bullet, blitz and rapid portion!

Chess.com 2022 (UNOFFCIAL) World Championships
Hello, and hope you are doing well! As some of you remember just a while ago, the World Chess Championships finished. Now, I would like to invite all the members of chess.com to come and have an opportunity to play! This championships is not official, so no official titles will be awarded but you will be awarded the Best Chess.com (Unofficial) Player of 2022. Games, may be streamed and will be blogged. Certificates and virtual trophies will be awarded. We extend our hand to both chess.com clubs, school chess clubs to have a bit of fun. (Remember though this is Unofficial).
Registration:
Registering is a simple process. Players, will have to comment below, with the following bolded statement, " I wish to participate ". Once players do this, they will be added to their respective group (View Details Later).
Qualifiers:
Despite the fact that we want as many players as possible, we still need to keep numbers reasonable. Because of this, a qualifiers will be runned in order to ensure the best of the best players! Qualifiers, will be based on your country, that is found on your chess.com profile. But in order to avoid misbalances, a country which has more representatives, will be able to send one additional representative for every 25 people. Qualifers, will last a certain amount of weeks, and a seperate chess.com club will be made. More information on which countries are legible to play, will be provided later.
Eligibility:
Unfournatley, we cannot allow everyone to play. In order to ensure no alternative accounts, or cheating occurs, games will be monitored and accounts must be at least 3 months old. In addition, players will be checked for past toxicity on chess.com, in order to ensure minimal communication problems during the scheduling matches. Furthermore, players must have a minimumn of 3 forums created, with at least 5+ comments from 3 different people and at least 100 points (Can be viewed on chess.com profile).
Countries:
We want to ensure all countries are repersented but due to misaccurate information provided by players, unfair circumstances occur. To avoid, this there must be at least 4 players in the country in order for the country to be eligible to play. If a player wishes to reperesent a chess.com club, the country the club is listed under will be used (in the case of an international country, the players, country will be used). In the case, that a player is marked as international, they will need to change their country in order for them to be reperesented.

Calender:
Registration ends January 1st, 2022.
Qualifers begin January 10th, 2022.
Qualifiers end Feburary 28th, 2022.
Games are verified from March 1st - March 9th, 2022.
Knockout Bracket begins March 10th 2022.
Winner announced March 17th, 2022.
