Maybe try dropping the " @chess.com"> " from the email address.
Chess.com account support mailbox is undeliverable
well, that seems weird because I'm simply "replying" to the original email. You'd assume the mailbox was correct. I've tried @chess.com">accounts@chess.com and @chess.com">account@chess.com from a different email system and they both still bounce back.
No link in the email body. This is exact wording:
"We are always sad when we close any account. We want everyone to be able to enjoy chess. However, we must protect the experience of all of our members, and cannot allow players to repeatedly stall, quit, or otherwise create a negative experience for their opponent. We hope you understand that we work hard to keep Chess.com a safe, fair, and positive community for chess players around the world.
We would like to offer you the chance to re-open your account if you can respond to us and acknowledge the terms that you have violated. Please let us know if you are interested in re-opening your account, along with an acknowledgement of the policies and why your account was closed."
For the record, I got into it verbally with a player during a tournament. But there's not link meaning the only option is to "reply". If you hit reply the only email account that populates is 'noreply@chess.com ' clearly that wont work. So you can go with account or @chess.com">accounts@chess.com
Any mods on this forum have any ideas or advice??

Staff are looking into why the wrong email was sent. You should contact Support directly using the option in the menu instead
The support bot's only answer to 'closed account' is to follow the instructions in the email that was sent. There's no direct way to contact a person.

You should be able to get it to open a ticket. Explain the situation fully and try something like contact an agent
I was able to get 'alert@' mailbox from the support bot for accout related activities. We'll see how it goes
Update: so Chessica the support bot gave me @chess.com">alert@chess.com as the mailbox to use for account problems. 3 days later I find this in my spam box;
'Address not found
Your message wasn't delivered to alert@chess.com because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail.'
same message I get for @chess.com">account@chess.com @chess.com">support@chess.com and accounts@chess.com
Chess.com....what are people supposed to do here???

alert@chess.com is an outgoing mailbox only. That's where site notification emails generate from and those emails specifically have a do not reply line in them.
There are tickets opened every day through the support tool. You should be able to get that to work.

It's not a bug. They decided to drop the email support system in favor of the AI bot support system.
If you want to contact Support, you have to use the AI bot support system.
I have been but the bot tells me to follow the instructions on the closed account email. The instructions on the email say "reply letting us know you acknowledge what you did and would like your account reopened". However, there's no mailbox to reply too. The original sender is 'noreply@chess.com' that and all the other mailboxes I noted above fail on 'reply'. So where do you send your notice you'd like your account reviewed?

Work through the tool. When it tells. You to check the mail, try things like I didn't receive the email and/or I need more help
I've been working through the tool for weeks. Clearly, the bot has limited options because I need more help and I didnt get email tell me to check spam folder. Then it autopopulates the 'email address associated with the closed account' verifies it, tells me the account is closed and to check my spam folder and then 'your conversation has ended'. Clearly, Chess.com doesnt want my money.
I got a closed account email from Chess.com support with the option of 'reply acknowledging you offense and the account would be considered for reactivation". However, every reply I send to @chess.com">accounts@chess.com or @chess.com">account@chess.com gets bounced back as undeliverable. When I use the support bot it simply tells me to follow the options laid out in the original email. I'm caught in a loop. Anyone else have this issue or know the correct mailbox I'm supposed to respond too? Thanks!
