The bot's rating is adjusted up and down just like a normal player.
If people exploited it for rating points then it would be very underrated (for example finding an opening trap it always falls for) but your example game seems to show the opposite i.e. that it's overrated.
I just realized it is possible to play rated games against bots on chess.com. I honestly think the whole concept of playing rated games against engines within predominantly human pool of players is ridiculous. You not only get to manipulate ratings by playing these bots over and over again, and getting free rating points basicaly every game, you are also in a way skewing other peoples' ratings by allowing these bots to particiapte along with humans. I just played a game against a 1379 rated bot and it played like an absolute retard:
