haha yesterday a guy asked me "u gay ?" during a game, as if he wanted to cruise me or something. I just answered "yep, but I'm here to play chess". He resigned the game immediately. what a moron. And what a weird way to win a game and a few points wink.png

Why don't you simply disable in game chat then you don't need to think about this whatsoever...

About one month ago, after a game where my opponent, who was winning, started to make mistakes, he gave up and sent me this message:

“you have been reported for cheating and I hope you are banned. you are a pathetic specimen who cannot take an honest defeat. shame on you you absolute wasteman

you think people wont notice if you play like a total spanner, go behind, take a huge pause and then play all the best moves? HA. loser

what an utter spanner you are”

I sent two messages to the administrator as I can’t accept this. I am not paying to be offended or to cheat. Chess.com seems to avoid taking measures in this case. Very disappointed.

Stress always sends a proportion of people loopy and there's been stress lately so we should probably be forgiving. You should have seen how Americans went just after 9/11. Totally understandable, because the shock must have been terrible and a proportion of people had their normality hit for six.

Cricketing term. Six runs if you hit it off the field of play.

I just played a guy of about 100 ranking points higher than me (ncand1dude) and beat him. We did not communicate at all both during and after the game but he also reported me at the end. Why? Not too sure. Probably a very sore loser who will try and say I cheated.

Personally I think it is a compliment but also a sign he is a terrible loser. I learn more from my loses than my wins so whatever. Besides, we aren't playing for sheep stations.

I hate it when someone calls my bluff wink.png  How big is your gold mine ...

There's no reason not to act civilly.  If people acted this way at an OTB event they would indeed get banned from the tournament and possibly from that event for the foreseeable future by the TD.

Ten miles deep and the size of Texas but I keep it in a zip file.

That's bigger than my sheep station.

1. Morons shouldn't report you before analyzing a game and making sure you got over 95%

2. It is nigh impossible to cheat if you spend less than thirty seconds on a move, so hacking in blitz or bullet games is nonexistent.

3. I understand if you are offended at this, but why make such a fuss and post on a forum? It just lowers people's opinion of you.

Avatar of TheEpicBrick

Dude there is so much wrong with this post...

1. getting over 95% means virtually nothing, CAPS score is just a number and Mr. Rensch has explained its use in a video a while ago.

2. You severely underestimate cheaters if you think it only happens in rapid games.

3. You're making a fuss and posting on a forum yourself... It seems a bit hypocritical.

PS. I don't think you're a cheater I just didn't like your post.
