I was wondering, when is chess.com gonna release an app for Windows 10?
Yeah it would be really nice, I'd appreciate it too!

The site isn't going to.

Yeah probably, but let's see, what the future gives us, no need to destroy all hope
yeah it is a virus
Please elaborate. Windows (10 and 11 I assume) gives you a warning that the publisher and creator is unknown. This is stated in the summarized first notification.
When clicked on "More Information" this is stated again in a few more words, but there appears a button "Run anyway", since it is not a virus (as far as I am aware of) it is just a not so popular application
VirusTotal doesn't think it is malicious either:

I assume that is the notification you are speaking about. Both my anti-virus software and Windows defender didn't pick it up as malicious. Windows Defender picked it up as not popular.
It is a "plugin" for Chrome, IE, and Firefox. If you go to www.chess.com it loads automatically.
? I don't know what you mean.
There's an app for computers called a "browser." It lets you visit all sorts of websites.
Sheesh, kids these days don't even know what a website is. I'm going to start feeling really old in the future lol.

Dont fret. We will just keep dumbing things down.
I can sort of live with kids not knowing how to read cursive or an analogue clock... but not knowing what a website is and thinking everything is an app... come on now.

I had to get rid of a student because his parents refused to take the cell phone away form him. Their reasoning: "Its the only thing that keeps him calm."
Poor kid deserved much better parents.
Also, there is a new version!
You might notice that it is slightly laggy, and I'll do my best to fix that in the upcoming versions.
But, for now, the latest version has a few more features (read about them in the link)
