Paid membership, at a minimum, should at least receive priority for site use over free usage. Paid members don't see any ads, how hard would it be to add site priority access to that tier?

Same servers are used by premium as basic. Ads are just a code check.
I think all whiners should support all nonpaying members so they can get premium membership... and also be more patient. I am an paying member and this overload is not a common issue. Iv never had any problems with chess.com. and also very friendly and helpfull Staff. Just be patient. We are all in this together and we all get the same errors. Its not Just paying members. Chill😊
On another post, people are saying they should have banned new users from making new accounts, why don't they just make it so that people can only have one account per device unless given permission from a dev or admin. I don't even think we shoudl do that, chess.com could easily fix this without limiting our usage, but people complaining and saying stupid things is just something I want to vent about.

Thanks for the insight, not an easy fix. I know virtually nothing about programming but I can think up several hard problems to deal with when combining paid & free play, especially when they are interdependent for site success.
I bet this happened partly because of trolls being banned and making new accounts
