chess.com is a breeding ground for vermin and sludge. pretty interesting how disgusting this site is. the mods determine what is approved to talk about in any form of chat on this site and if you disagree with the guidelines and mention a particular issue with the site you get responses saying how something like that could never happen, or that all the members on the site are good people and could never spam malware or post malicious links. I think that those that play on this site are putting any of their personal information at risk and it may be a safer bet to play elsewhere. because of the popularity of this site it has become a notorious spamming ground.
