Just want to bring to players attention that recently I had a game against 1170 rated player that I was able to catch on cheating, I reported explained all the details but my report was completely ignored. I know it's hard to prove when your opponent cheats, and I don't know how to explain to chess.com experts that for cheating for player is not necessary to use the engine for entire game. The following game [removed -- MS] I really had a hard time to get any advantage against my opponent until I finally blundered a piece. But that's not end of the story, to prove that this player is cheating after having lost position in endgame, I turned on engine myself. Moves 38-60 was played by strongest level 8 of stockfish 14. As expected black never made a single mistake, as you can see yourself from the game. And now imagine how many times players get mentally screwed by this cheaters, which I have a feeling like so many of them here. Even after providing the proof chess.com did not block this player any others that have been reported before. Or perhaps someone can believe that 1170 rated player can resist highest level of stockfish for 20 moves straight, which is absurd of course. Want to say save yourself, your mental health, I do not think it worth playing here.

Keep reporting people you suspect of cheating, but do not create threads like this afterwards. Just because someone isn't instantly banned, that doesn't mean your report was ignored. chess.com works hard to catch unfair play, but they may also utilize warnings, or mutes, in addition to bans.

If you report someone of cheating, yet still want to discuss cheating, then please do so in this chess.com club, rather than in the forums: https://www.chess.com/club/cheating-forum
