I understand getting angry when you get flagged (I've had those moments) but I don't think I ever blocked someone. At least I don't remember.

Sometimes my opponent plays so cleanly I just admire it and congratulate them.

huh no I mean when chess.com matchmaking pairs me against someone whove I've already declines a challenge from

alr guys gn if a mod happens to see this then please respond. I've been thinking

maybe I"m at a level of rating where there are few players to pair me against in my rating range that my opponents are the only options

mrfreezyiceboy

don't know any way to avoid that other than blocking them or something, but i guess just abort and try to join a new game

I know how. I go to open challenges, accept a challenge, and when I am done, I offer a rematch. If they decline, I simply go back to open challenges and click his challenge again. I do this against players I want to learn from.

LOL

I did that to a WIM once. She aborted game one and when I tried to play her again she aborted. Titled players are scared if me it seems

Eh this has happened multiple times to me they are probably the only player playing in the time control just play at a different time or something. Probably lost like 30ish points because of this

@ricorat I play a lot of unrated games and create challenges. On multiple occasions I’ve had the same dude accepting my challenge repeatedly and it can feel kind of stalky.

I’ve also aborted games against dudes who I’ve played before for a number of reasons: they have a creepy screen name, they play openings I don’t like, they have a weird/offensive picture or screen name (I don’t like hyper macho or murdery names), they don’t resign in lost positions—lots of reasons that have nothing to do with losing. Don’t assume that she was butt-hurt because she lost. That’s a little presumptuous.

Maybe you need to hope few time to the Chess.com server choose another person from the online ones.

I experienced a similar issue.
What happens if we clean our computer memory cache?

Nothing can be done if your the only players in a pool seeking matches.

I agree with what you said but I never got to play them lol. Even if I did I would have lost as they were like 2700 bullet and I’m 1500

at your rating level probably not any other players queuing at that moment in time in the pool.   I would suggest maybe wait a couple minutes before queuing for the next match.  I'm sure it had nothing to do with him offering the rematch.

completely true. This happened to me before as well.
