I mean personally chess.com membership is well priced, compared too some other websites, and you can disconnect anytime. I personally think Platinum, offers the best offer, for 4.08 you get unlimited puzzles and puzzle rush, which I think is pretty hard to beat. It also depends, on your activity on chess.com, your pretty active, and are online most the time, so I would reccomend Platinum. I would NOT reccomend Diamond, it's not really worth it, since the features for Diamond, are not worth it for double the price of platinum. Gold, is great, but if your really looking to improve your chess, 25 puzzles, might not be the best way, but it's still an offer that's good!

agreed

I used platinum for 2 years (for the unlimited puzzle rushes), and only switched to diamond a week ago when chess.com introduced their insights. I'm glad i upgraded, for me the extra features offered by diamond (insights, videos, lessons etc.) make it worthwhile.

TATTERED_TORN

im not begging, i just wish some baller would gift me a diamond membo

it just sucks all the good stuff is behind a pay wall 😥

Yes, the lessons are really helpful and they are the main reason for me to pay for a higher subscription than gold.

But it is as simple as this: If you're happy with your basic membership, don't subscribe to anything. If you want to have access to more features, just start with gold and see if you're happy with that. If you're missing some features in gold membership which you find important, just upgrade to the next level.

You can always upgrade your account, you don't have to wait for a year. They'll balance out your subscription fee accordingly to what you've paid already. So there's no real reason to worry about buying the wrong membership for you, you just can change it due to your needs.

You get what is shown in the Membership link. So, if yours shows X puzzles, per day, that's what you get. They sometimes change what is offered, so you may not be able to compare what you get with what someone else gets.

I guess that's what I get for trying to employ sarcasm on the internet. Thanks for the response anyway

No, nothing is getting mixed up. It depends on what is offered. If any particular member has a specific question on what they are offered, they should contact support.

Kowarenai

i wonder martin this is a side question but do mods get free memberships?
