I agree
Chess.com needs a classical category

30/d5 is considered a Classical game by official USCF tournament directors.
It's rather fast by my standards for a classical game, but I would say that's the minimum.
To the OP, yes absolutely. There should be a Classical rating category. There's lots of people who won't cheat. Of course, there are many who do, but don't let the cheaters spoil it for everyone else.

Regardless of what we call it, I think the point of the original post is that there should be a category for longer time controls. Rather than calling anything 10 minutes or more "rapid".

I agree for a classical format. I also want to put forward my opinion on the fact that , I am happy 10|0 is no more called blitz but I still don't consider it long enough to be categorized as rapid.
I agree! It would be much more interesting to play longer games without mixing them up with 10 min rating.

Would 30 minutes really be "classical"?
Yeah, 30 minutes per side is a long time control for most people's standards.
I am sorry if there is already a thread on this, but I am making my opinion known.
Kudos to Chess.com for making 10 minutes rapid, and NOT blitz. But you have the same rating whether you play 10|0 or 90|30.
Can Chess.com implement a classical rating? Maybe 30 minutes per side or above. Raise your hand if you agree! 🙌
