Lichess is entirely free, with no ads and strong features like puzzles and analysis tools. Its interface is clean and simple, but it might not have as structured learning resources as Chess.com.
I kinda like chess.com more for some reason...

Recently I have been liking lichess much more
I love both tbh but my heart is with Lichess. Not the ratings, merely because it’s more fun for me (I can brag that I beat Stockfish level 3 instead of saying I beat Janjay.) and I’m broke so all of the free features help a lot. Also, the game analysis is the same as Chess.com. Lichess forever but chess.com has more community things
