Chess.com has a HORRIBLE rule.

I tried joining a tournament (daily) and it said I HAD TO COMPLETE 144 MORE! I would be 3 years older (15) by then! I mean, that is so hard! Why did you make only members who plays a lot of daily games? Why chess.com? Please consider this; change the rules.

Thanks you.

AFAIK, you have to play a few games (complete ) before playing the tourney. You joined 3 days ago, and wanna play tourney, Sorry!

This isn't a chess.com rule.  It's a rule set by the creator of the tournament.  Requiring people to have completed a certain number of games is a common method of reducing the number of cheater and people who imbalance the tournament by joining it and then abandoning the site.

I don't know which tournament you joined Katie - but not all are like that - I didn't even know there was one like that - but I see that you managed to join the Cafe Sophie Match. Try joining other daily tournaments that don't have such strict admission requirements as the one you are talking about. Can you send me a link to that tournament so that I can see what you mean.

Hmmm. Thanks, I'll check that out.
